Our CEO participated in the Pace Pitch Contest held at Pace University in NYC yesterday.  Although we didn't walk away with the top prize, we did receive the MIT Enterprise Forum Innovative Technology Award.  Tears for Life was one of only five finalists to compete in the elevator pitch for the new business concept category.  Click here to learn more about the competition.
 
 
Tears for Life received the John A. White Award at the University of Arkansas 2009 Convocation for their collaboration efforts with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  We would like to give special thanks to Dr. Reeves for all of her support and valuable advice.  Also, we are grateful to Clint Fullen and the University crew that put this amazing video together for us.

We were recently awarded $25,000 for First Place at the second annual Donald W. Reynolds Tri-State Award business plan competition in Las Vegas.  Additionally, we won $1,000 for the Elevator Pitch.  Click here to read about the results.  This brings our competition series to an end.  Thank you to our family and friends who have supported us throughout this journey.  Now the hard work begins!!!!

Super Bowl Time 05/07/2009
 

The team is down in Austin for the Super Bowl of business competitions, Moot Corp.  This competition has teams from all around the world, and the only way to qualify is to win a national competition.  Needless to say, the competition is going to be stiff, but we still believe we have a good shot.  You can follow the competition by searching for #MootCorp on Twitter or by following us on Twitter.
